log bases on ti 89

Hi, I am a senior in high school and need major help in log bases on ti 89. My math grades are awful and I have decided to do something about it. I am looking for some software that will let me enter a problem and offers detailed step by step solution; basically it must take me through the entire thing. I really wish to improve my grades so please help me out.

You are right , there are programs that can assist you with homework. I think there are a few types that help you solve math problems, but I believe that Algebrator is the best amongst them. I used the program when I was a student in Basic Math for helping me with log bases on ti 89, and it always helped me out since then. In time I understood all the topics, and after a while I was able to solve the most difficult of the tests alone. Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was meant for students, so it's very easy to use. Actually you just have to type in the topic and that's it .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the results, because you won't improve that way.

Thanks for the detailed information, this sounds great. I wanted something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a program which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can really explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the answers. Where can I find the program?

A truly piece of math software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving inverse matrices, y-intercept and trigonometric functions. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
