Hello folks! I have a serious problem about math and I was hoping that someone might have the ability to help me out in some way. I have a algebra test in a few weeks and even though I have been studying algebra seriously, there are still a few parts that cause a lot of headache, such as roots of algebra and unlike denominators especially. Last week I had a session with a private tutor, but many things still remain unclear to me. Can you recommend a good way of studying or a good private teacher that you know already? |

I have a good suggestion that could help you with algebra. You simply need a good program to clarify the problems that are complicated. You don't need a tutor, because firstly it's very costly, and secondly you won't have it near you whenever you need help. A software is better because you only have to get it once, and it's yours forever. I recommend you to take a look at Algebrator, because it's the best. Since it can resolve almost any math exercises, you will certainly use it for a very long time, just like I did. I got it a long time ago when I was in Algebra 1, but I still use it quite often. |

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a reference and a means to learn and never to copy. |

I remember having problems with algebraic signs, simplifying expressions and quadratic inequalities. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Basic Math and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended. |
